3 Things You Must Do to Be Happy

Don’t let your past experience ruin your entire life. Nothing is worth it if you aren’t happy. You won’t be able to live the kind of life you want when you are not truly happy with yourself. You will keep experiencing disappointments and bad breaks in your life as long as you keep dwelling on past mistakes, and on chances you didn’t or couldn’t take. Your thoughts affect everything around you. The thoughts you harbor can either keep you in bondage or liberate you. You will only experience upward and forward movement in your life when you are always happy and positive. Fill your mind with positive thoughts and watch how your life will improve. Happiness is a state of mind. It cannot be pursued, it must ensue.

Take a look at three (3) things you must do to be happy;

1) Let go of what’s gone: The past cannot be changed, edited or corrected. It can only be accepted. Whatever happened in the past should be left in the past. Holding unto the past will prevent you from truly living in the present. It will prevent you from being happy with yourself. You won’t be able to perform your duties and responsibilities efficiently when you are living in depression. Let go of what’s already gone. You might feel nothing at the moment. But just know that, sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Take that small step towards happiness.

2) Be grateful for what remains: Life is truly a gift. You shouldn’t waste a single moment more brooding about the past. Be grateful for all that you have. A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles. When you are grateful for all that remains in your life, life gives you its best offerings. The greatest source of happiness is the ability to be grateful at all times. Be grateful for everything that happened in the past so that you can be free to experience the gift of the present. You only experience true happiness when you learn to live in the moment. There is peace and happiness to be experienced in the present. Be grateful for what still remains in your life and look forward to a much brighter future.

3) Look forward to what’s coming next: The beautiful ones are not yet born. The things you once had or experienced in the past are nothing compared to what the future has in store for you. There are beautiful things waiting for you in the future to take possession of. Look forward to what’s coming next in your life. Be expectant of a brighter tomorrow. You are free to achieve anything you want to achieve. Don’t be the one that hinders your progress. Let go of what’s already gone and be grateful for all that still remains in your life, so that you can be free to create the future you want. Only then will you experience true happiness.
