As you stand strong and refuse to let failure bring you down, life sets you on the path to become successful. Failure is not the opposite of success, but part of success. Failure is the key to success. Every mistake you make, teaches you something important. You will keep making the same mistake over and over again until you learn what failure is trying to teach you.
As you change your mindset about failure being fatal and start seeing it as an opportunity to learn, you will begin to enjoy the process of becoming successful. Success doesn’t happen by chance or by accident. Success is a result of hard work, patience, learning, sacrifice and love for what you do.
Follow these five (5) rules to live a successful life;
1. Choose family over everything.
Family is the most important thing in the world. They are the main reason we strive to become successful. Your family is your support system. They can go to any length to make sure that you succeed in your endeavors. They are interested in your happiness and will do anything to ensure your growth.
Your family are the only people that truly have your back and want you to succeed, so it is very important to always put them first. When you choose your family over everything, you will live a happy and successful life.
2. Stop comparing yourself to others.
Respect yourself and stop comparing yourself to others. We all have different directions in life. Everyone has their own unique race to run. It is of no good to you to compare yourself to others because you have no idea what their journey is all about. Life is a journey and we all have our own unique journey to embark on.
The more you keep comparing yourself to others, the less happy you become. Stop comparing yourself to others. Comparing yourself to others is an insult to yourself. The only person you should compare yourself to is the person you were yesterday.
If you look back at the person you were yesterday and you are not pleased, you should work hard to become the best version of yourself. You are your only competition.
3. Be grateful for everything you have.
Life is full of ups and downs. You could have the world today and lose it all tomorrow. Be grateful for everything you have. Be grateful for the good and bad times for they made you who you are today.
When things are going great for you, don’t be so full of yourself because everything can be taken away from you in a second. Be grateful for the good times and learn to remain humble. On the other hand, when things are not so great for you, don’t let negativity bring you down. Be grateful for the ups and downs.
A grateful heart attracts blessings. As you practice gratitude regardless of the challenges you face, life rewards you with unprecedented blessings. Always be grateful.
4. Invest in yourself.
You are your greatest asset. Invest in yourself, it pays the best interest. You are capable of doing more with yourself than you could ever imagine. Learn to believe in yourself and all that you are. Always be conscious of the power within you. There is something within you that can conquer any difficulty. Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself because you fear you might fail.
Failure is part of success and not the opposite of success. If you are not failing, you are not pushing your limits, and if you are not pushing your limits, you are not maximizing your potential. You will be astonished by what you are able to accomplish when you make the right investment in yourself. Invest in yourself. You deserve the best.
5. Let go of the past.
Don’t let your past, ruin your chances of living a happy and successful life. Let go of the past. Life is too short to begin your day thinking about the past. Starting a new day with painful memories of the past can ruin your day and your chances of having a better tomorrow. Whatever happened in the past should be buried in the past.
Every day offers a new opportunity to become a better version of yourself. No matter how challenging yesterday was, don’t hope to experience the same circumstances again, for it is gone forever. Today present a new opportunity to do better. Learn to let go of the past so that you can be free to live a happy and successful life.

This is so cool. I enjoyed reading all the points you stated, most especially the second point that says “stop comparing yourself to others”. I have gotten to understand that comparison steals one’s happiness. The more we compare ourselves to others, the less happy we become. Your thoughts are so clear and concise. Keep up the great work Simobel ❤️
