5 Principles to Upgrade Your Life

Every day is another opportunity to become the best version of yourself. You can’t become who you want to be by remaining who you are. Let go of the person you have been and embrace the person you are becoming.

Change is hard at first, difficult during the process and beautiful at the end. Trust the process of becoming your best self as you manifest into something beautiful.

Nothing hinders manifestation as much as disbelief. If you don’t believe, you won’t become. Learn to believe in yourself for nothing is impossible for the one who believes.

Upgrade your life with these principles;

1. Never hate.

Hatred is a disease of the heart, soul and body. The worst thing you can do to yourself is to hate others. Hate is a burden you should let go of, for it does more harm to the hater than it does to the hated. When you let hatred fill your heart, you will become self-destructive, causing harm to not just yourself but also to the people you love and care about.

Hate has indeed caused a lot of problems in the world today but has solved not a single one of them. Hate will hinder your progress and prevent you from achieving anything meaningful with your life. It will delay the manifestation of the person you strive so much to become.

Never hate, instead learn to love people. Hate can’t expel hate, only love has the power to do so. As you learn to love others just the way you love yourself, you will find out how easy it is to love; and how much of a burden you were harboring in your heart.

2. Live humbly.

Live humbly regardless of your wealth or financial status in your community. It is essential for one to realize that they are not better than anyone else; for dust we are and dust we shall return. We came into this world alone and without anything, the same way we will leave this world alone without taking nothing for ourselves.

Understand that nothing in life is permanent, so it is wise to always remain humble. We are only here on earth temporarily before we go back to our creator. As this truth settles in your heart, you will take no joy in being proud.

As you live a humble life, you will realize that you weren’t placed here on earth to simply amass wealth and become prominent, but to make a difference by impacting the lives of others in a positive way.

3. Always think positive.

Thoughts are pictures of the mind that can be constructive or destructive. If you feed your mind with positive pictures, your life will be beautified with positivity. On the other hand, if your mind is constantly fed with negative pictures, your life will always be filled with bad breaks and unfortunate situations.

The mind is a very powerful tool. Once you learn how the mind operates, you will be mindful of the thoughts you think about. Always think positive regardless of your situation. You become what you think about so be watchful of your thoughts. Always remember that you are not what you think you are, but what you THINK.

4. Give abundantly.

It is more blessed to give than to receive. Give, and it will be given to you for the measure at which you give out will be the same measure you will receive. As you make a habit of giving abundantly, your life will be upgraded to a level of abundance. You will live in abundance not because of the things you receive but because of the measure you give out.

Giving is vital for spiritual growth, for until we give and give abundantly, we won’t realize that we are not the giver but simply a conduit for giving. God is the true giver, so when He blesses you, don’t raise your standard of living instead raise your standard of giving. Give abundantly.

5. Be quick to forgive.

Forgiveness is the best way to express love. Be quick to forgive others even when they did something that bitterly wronged you. If you decide not to forgive the person that offended you, you need to understand that by holding onto their mistakes, you cause more harm to yourself than good.

Unforgiveness hinders God’s blessings in your life and prevents your prayers from being answered. Unforgiveness won’t cause the offender to die or stop them from living their life, instead it will put your own life on hold until you forgive the person.

Unforgiveness is deciding to remain locked up in the prison of bitterness, serving time for the offender’s crime. Don’t let your inability to forgive make you serve time for someone else’s mistake. Always be quick to forgive.

This is so cool. I really enjoyed the article, especially the last point be quick to forgive. I absolutely agree with the fact that when you choose not to forgive someone that hurt you, you in turn hurt yourself for not forgiving the person and letting go of the situation. Thanks for sharing your insights.
