The past can’t be changed neither can you foretell the future. The only moment you can make a difference is now. As you live fully in the moment, you will be at peace with yourself.

No amount of material things can give you inner peace. If you think that by achieving something you want will give you peace of mind, very soon you will want something else and won’t stop until you get it; them the circle keeps going on and on.

Negative thoughts will break you down. Always do you best to keep a positive attitude. A positive attitude will help you find inner peace. The only different between a good day and a bad day is your attitude. Regardless of how your day went, always keep a positive attitude. In keeping a positive attitude, you will be at peace with yourself than someone who complains about how horrible their day was.

It is easy to know someone that is at peace with themselves by the kind of attitude they display. Someone without peace of mind can sometimes display a hostile attitude but you can know someone that has found inner peace within them by how peaceful and calm they always are.

6. Forgive and forget.

You won’t be able to find inner peace until you forgive whoever wronged you and forget whatever they did to you. Your unwillingness to forgive and forget is the main reason you don’t live in peace with yourself. It doesn’t matter the gravity of wrong that was done to you, you should learn to forgive and forget.

Question: when someone does something to offend you and you decide not to forgive the person, who do you think you are hurting? In choosing not to forgive someone that hurt you, you remain locked up in a prison serving time for the person’s wrong deeds. You will discover that whenever that person’s name is mentioned you will suddenly become bitter and won’t feel at peace with yourself.
